KO PIN CHUNG WINS IN MALDIVES

The Maldives Open 2023 – 10 Ball Championship has wrapped up with an electrifying showdown between Ko Ping Chung of Chinese Taipei and Johann Chua from the Philippines. The match was a spectacle of skill, featuring breathtaking breaks and masterful clearances. Ko Ping Chung emerged as the victor with a 10-8 score, showcasing the epitome of top-tier gameplay.

The Maldives Pool Billiard Association deserves commendation for flawlessly organizing the event, earning praise from Thorsten Hohmann, a former World 9 Ball Champion. Hohmann expressed gratitude to the Association, venue, and organizers, as well as to the President of the Maldives and the government for their invaluable support.

Ishaun Singh, President of the WPA, also spoke highly of the championship, acknowledging the presence and endorsement of the Maldives' President. Despite initial challenges, the Maldives Association demonstrated unwavering dedication, delivering a standout event that left everyone proud. With room for improvement noted, the WPA eagerly anticipates the next year's championship.
